Introduction to QuickBooks 2016

QuickBooks   QuickBooks is Intuit Inc’s set of software solutions designed to manage payroll, inventory, sales and other needs of a small business. The software’s features include marketing tools, merchant services, product and supplies, training solutions. Each solution is developed according to different industries and their needs. Intuit’s products for construction contractors include the Simple Start Plus Pack, Quickbooks Pro, Quickbooks Premier Contractor and Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions: Contractor. These products are designed to meet contractor’s needs based on company size. These software solutions are used to monitor expenses, create invoices and reports, track change orders and job status, and manage inventory, customers, vendors and employees. In addition to these industry specific packages and their corresponding capabilities, Intuit offers add-ons to Quickbook versions as well as third-party tools that integrate with Quickbooks in order to enhance current functions.

Course Overview

This course provides the student with an overview  on how to best utilize QuickBooks for your environment. Some specific topics to be covered include:
  • Money in:  how to set up a customer, create an invoice, receive payment, and put in the bank.
  • Money out: Setting up a vendor, enter a bill, pay a bill.  How to enter checks written.
  • How to reconcile a bank account.
  • How to get the most out of your QB Reporting features.

The Gloucester Daffodil Festival, a celebration of spring and a Gloucester County tradition since 1987. The Daffodil Festival Council invites you – visitors and vendors alike – to come and enjoy this true community event.

Watch the parade. Meet the Daffodil Festival Queen and the scholarship winner. Tour the internationally known farms at Brent & Becky’s Bulbs. Enjoy the rides and games. Take part in a talk on gardening, shop our many vendors, listen to a Live Music performance or play laser tag. Have a tasty treat and get your face painted.

Guinea Jubilee

The Guinea Jubilee and the Guinea Heritage Association are committed to preserving the history and values of a unique community we call Guinea. The Guinea Jubilee is a two day event that annually attracts thousands of people to celebrate and honor the way of life in the Guinea Neck. The Jubilee features cultural activities, arts and crafts exhibits, a parade, delicious seafood, and a fireworks show to end the event. Our festival is always held the last Friday and Saturday in September.
